Start with a free 15-minute consultation. You can request one through our contact page or call us directly. During that call, our client care coordinator learns what you are looking for and matches you with a therapist who fits your needs, schedule, and preferences.

What happens during the free 15-minute consultation?

The consultation is a brief conversation to understand your goals, answer your questions about how therapy works, and confirm a good fit with a clinician. It is not a therapy session. If you and the therapist feel comfortable moving forward, you will schedule your first full appointment.

Do I have to commit to therapy after the consultation?

No. The consultation is free and carries no obligation. If it is not the right fit, or if you are not ready to begin, you are welcome to take your time deciding.

How are sessions held?

All sessions take place online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video portal. You join from a computer, tablet, or smartphone in a private space where you feel comfortable. There is no need to travel to an office.

Can I attend from anywhere in Florida?

Yes. Our therapists are licensed to provide telehealth to clients anywhere in the state of Florida. As long as you are physically located in Florida at the time of your session, you can attend.

What if I am not comfortable with technology?

Joining a session is straightforward, and our team can walk you through it before your first appointment. If you can open a link and click join, you can attend a session. Contact us if you would like help getting set up.

Can couples attend from separate locations?

Yes. Couples can join a session together from the same room, or each partner can join from a separate location. Both partners simply need to be in Florida at the time of the session.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We work with several insurance providers, including Cigna, Evernorth, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, AvMed, Oscar Health, ComPsych, and Optum. Because in-network status can change and depends on your specific plan, please contact us to confirm your coverage before your first session.

We offer out-of-network options and sliding-scale sessions with our counseling interns for clients facing financial barriers. Contact us to talk through what is available and what may fit your situation.

Yes. Our Free Care Scholarship provides complimentary or reduced-cost counseling sessions for Florida residents experiencing financial hardship. You can learn more on our scholarship program page.

When are appointments available?

Our current office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. We are closed on weekends. Your therapist will work with you to find a time that fits your schedule within those hours.

Yes. Sessions are held through an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video platform, and your clinical information is protected under the same confidentiality standards as in-person therapy. We recommend joining from a private space where you will not be overheard.
